Labor Day Sucked | trixi's Blog

the whole family was sick over the holiday weekend; my son had it the worst---and he was grouchy as ever! i had barely woken up yesterday and he was cursing at me.  now, i know he didn't feel good and all of that, but &%^@ give me a *&^%$#@ break!  and it didn't get any better throughout the day, either.  in fact, it continued until the moment he went to bed last nite.  is it normal to actually feel hatred toward your own child? because i was so incredibly sick of him yesterday i could have screamed.  the funny thing is, despite these dark feeelings, deep down, i would never want something to happen to him.  he went dirt bike riding w/ a friend and i was so worried that he would get in a nasty wreck.  what is this paradox called? do other parents have it?  i wish i knew. i'm so confused.  all i know is, i'm so &^%$#^%* glad he went to school today i feel like havin a party. wanna come?

I feel that way a lot. I have two teenage boys. Sometimes I just go to my room, lock the door, and pretend i am asleep. Is that bad?
