damn--the sun is shining. can't it just rain today for a change? contrary to what you may believe, i am NOT in one of my depressed states.  i am, however, not making any concerted effort to be happy either.  it's a wierd place to be in really.  i havn't been on much this summer because i've been doing alot of things with the kids--trying my best to make up for the fact that i laid in bed  all day every day LAST summer because i was ensconced in a deep, dark place from which there was no escape except to sleep.  thankfully, i am doing better this year, although i still struggle at times with my mood.  today i am celebrating hte fact that the kids returned to school  that there is for once no one hollering, no one barging in on me when i'm in the bathroom, no whining because there's nothing good to eat in the house . my plan is to lay around until they are due home--maybe i'll watch Jane Eyre or read a while--eat potato chips for brunch (against my better judgment of course).  next week i'll have to straighten my ass up cuz i start a job and school too.  But for now, i'll just enjoy what little time i have for myself
